All Gamers Global’s acquisition of Team Tidebound comes after the squad received a direct invite to The International 2025.
Chinese esports organisation All Gamers Global has officially entered the Dota 2 scene by acquiring the star-studded roster ofTeam Tidebound. Just hours after the announcement, Tidebound was revealed as one of the eight directly-invited teams to The International (TI) 2025, Dota 2’s annual world championship tournament.
Team Tidebound, fielding veteran Chinese players such as Zhang “Bach” Ruida and Yiping “y`” Zhang, who won TI 2016, has shown strong early-season performances by placing fourth at PGL Wallachia Season 4 and finishing in the Top 6 at BLAST Slam III. Their promising run has reignited hope in the declining Chinese Dota 2 scene.
In an official statement on their official X/Twitter , All Gamers Global said that “Tidebound will officially rebrand and All Gamers Global (AG Global). Together, we will ensure that the legacy of ‘CN DOTA NEVER DIE’ echoes across the globe.”
All Gamers Global, often referred to as AG Global, is a well-established esports organisation from China. It began with StarCraft and later expanded into multiple titles, including VALORANT, PUBG Mobile, and their most successful division of late, Honor of Kings.
In recent days, AG Global has made a series of major moves, g players in Overwatch, Rainbow Six Siege, and now Dota 2.
The acquisition of Team Tidebound comes at a pivotal point in the Dota 2 season, with two major tournaments ahead: the Esports World Cup 2025 in early July and TI 2025 in September.
With Tidebound’s confirmed direct invite to TI 2025, AG Global will make its debut at Dota 2’s biggest stage, competing for the Aegis of Champions at the Barclays Arena in Hamburg, .
Other teams that are given a direct invite to TI 2025 are defending champions Team Liquid, Tundra Esports, Team Falcons, Gaimin Gladiators, PARIVISION, BetBoom Team, and Team Spirit. Eight more teams will be earn their spots in the tournament via the Regional Qualifiers, set to begin on 4 June.
