The Honor of Kings Indonesia Kings Laga (IKL) Spring 2025 tournament continues to enter the deciding phase, with the sixth week of the Regular Season soon to take place. The first Honor of Kings esports league in Indonesia will feature the ten best teams, with a prize pool of US$60,000 (equivalent to one billion rupiah) and three tickets to the Kings World Cup (KWC) 2025 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
The fifth week of IKL Spring 2025 further emphasized the dominance of Dominator Esports, Bigetron Esports, and Talon Esports, who officially became the first teams to qualify for the playoffs.
However, even though they have secured their place, evaluation is still needed, especially for Bigetron and Talon, the two rulers of the Overlord Group, who had difficulty facing Dominator Esports from the Tyrant Group in the cross-group match phase.
The peak occurred in the most awaited hot match, namely the derby between Dominator Esports and Bigetron Esports, which ended with a score of 2-0 for Dominator, further strengthening their position as the most dominant team throughout this season.
In the middle of the board, ONIC Esports showed an extraordinary revival, after stumbling at the beginning of the season. In the fifth week, Butsss and his team found a solid game rhythm, recording two consecutive wins with a landslide score of 2-0 against Team Nemesis and Alter Ego Enma.
Meanwhile, ONIC’s two main competitors in the middle of the board, Vesakha and Mahadewa, actually performed less convincingly, giving ONIC the advantage to climb up the standings and get closer to the top three and the playoffs.
Although mathematically Alter Ego Enma still has a chance, RRQ’s increasingly solid position on the edge of the playoff zone makes the situation even more difficult for them and other teams at the bottom of the board.
